Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 July 2026These terms govern your access to and use of the Geosium website and monitoring application (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. You must provide accurate information and use the Service in compliance with applicable laws.
Your data
You retain ownership of the data you upload or connect. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that data to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for having the right to use any data you bring in.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Don't upload unlawful content or infringe others' rights.
- Don't use the Service to send spam or misuse the alerting features.
Monitoring is not a safety guarantee
Geosium is a data and alerting tool to support your monitoring programme. It is not a substitute for professional engineering judgement, regulatory compliance, or on-site safety systems. Alerts depend on the data and thresholds you configure and on the availability of third-party services. Do not rely on the Service as the sole means of detecting critical conditions.
Availability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties, and may have downtime or change over time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geosium is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. You may stop using the Service at any time, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
