GEOTECHNICAL · STRUCTURAL · ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING

The monitoring hub for geotechnical, structural & environmental data.

Ingest readings automatically over FTP, MQTT or HTTP — or upload a file. Piezometers, vibrating-wire, inclinometers, tiltmeters, vibration, load, strain and weather. Combine multiple sources per sensor, set thresholds, and get alerts before conditions become critical.

Onboarding included. FTP, MQTT, HTTP ingest or file upload.

HOW IT WORKS

From raw logger output to actionable insight in minutes.

1

Create your project

Name your site, set a location, and invite your team. One project per monitoring site or structure.

2

Connect your data

Stream from your loggers over FTP, MQTT or HTTP ingest, or upload CSV/Excel exports — Campbell, Geokon, Worldsensing, RST/Datataker, or any delimited format.

3

Set alert thresholds

Define warning and critical levels per sensor. Geosium monitors every reading and notifies your team the moment a threshold is breached.

4

Monitor & share

View time-series charts, download reports, and give clients read-only access — all from one URL.

FEATURES

Built around how monitoring teams actually work.

Automated ingestion

Loggers push over FTP, MQTT or HTTP and readings appear automatically — no nightly CSV wrangling. Or upload files by hand; Geosium auto-detects timestamp, reading, and temperature columns.

FTP · MQTT · HTTP · FILE UPLOAD

Multi-source sensors

Feed one measurement from several data sources, ranked by priority. Splice an old logger and a new one into one continuous series, or add a backup source that fills gaps when the primary drops out.

PRIORITY · FAILOVER · GAP-FILL

Time-series charting

Plot any reading over time with warning and critical threshold lines overlaid. Zoom from a 24-hour window to the full project history.

80+ NATIVE PARAMETERS

Alerts & rules

Set warn and critical levels per sensor and let the rules engine watch every reading. Email and in-app notifications fire the moment a threshold is crossed, with a full event history.

EMAIL · IN-APP · EVENT LOG

Maps & dashboards

See every instrument on an interactive map with green/amber/red status pins and clustering, then build dashboards and layouts that show exactly what each site needs.

SPATIAL CONTEXT · CUSTOM VIEWS

Live site cameras

Bring site cameras in alongside the data — watch conditions and instrument readings on the same screen instead of switching between systems.

VISUAL CONTEXT

Export & reporting

Download filtered time-series data as CSV for GeoStudio, Python, or Excel. Scheduled PDF summary reports are on the way.

CSV EXPORT · PDF COMING

Roles & client sharing

Invite engineers, technicians, and clients with role-based access. Give owners and stakeholders a live read-only link instead of emailing PDFs around.

ROLES · READ-ONLY SHARING
SENSOR SUPPORT

Native support for the instruments already on your site.

Geosium natively models 80+ measurement types across groundwater & pressure, movement & deformation, vibration & blast, load & strain, and environmental — units and typical ranges built in, so charts, thresholds and multi-source rules work out of the box. The table below shows turnkey logger recognition; everything else imports as delimited data.

SENSOR TYPE MEASURED PARAMETER SUPPORTED FORMATS STATUS
Casagrande Piezometer Piezometric head / pore water pressure from a standpipe — read by dip meter or logged transducer. Manual entry · CSV · XLS SUPPORTED
Vibrating Wire Piezometer Pore water pressure via frequency shift. High accuracy, suitable for automated logging. Campbell · Geokon · RST CSV SUPPORTED
Water Meter Seepage flow rate measurement. Used in drainage monitoring and dam safety. CSV · Manual entry SUPPORTED
Tiltmeter Structural & slope rotation. Bi-axial tilt (X / Y) on dams, walls, and monitored structures. FTP · MQTT · CSV SUPPORTED
Inclinometer Lateral ground movement. A-axis and B-axis displacement profiles over depth. Slope Indicator · CSV IN PROGRESS
Settlement Gauge Vertical displacement of embankments and fills. Reed switch or VW transducer types. CSV PLANNED
FAQ

Common questions.

Geosium accepts CSV and Excel (.xls, .xlsx) exports from any datalogger. Columns are auto-detected for timestamp, reading value, temperature correction, and sensor ID. If your format isn't recognised, contact us and we'll add a parser — usually within a few days.
Yes — send readings over FTP, MQTT, or HTTP ingest and they appear automatically, no manual uploads. Campbell (CR1000, CR300), Geokon, Worldsensing, and RST/Datataker exports are recognised out of the box. File upload stays available for one-off or offline datasets.
Each sensor has an independent warn and critical level, set in the sensor's native units (e.g. metres above sea level for piezometers, litres per minute for water meters). Thresholds are evaluated on every new data point. Alert emails are sent to all project members with the relevant permission level.
Yes. The Viewer role can see dashboards, charts, and current readings but cannot upload data, modify thresholds, or invite other users. Share a project link and assign owners, consultants, or clients a Viewer seat.
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Projects are isolated at the database level — no cross-project data access is possible. Geosium runs on AWS infrastructure in São Paulo (sa-east-1), with a European region planned.
Plans are based on sensor count, data retention, and support level — get in touch and we'll size one to your monitoring programme.
