EARLY ACCESS · GEOTECHNICAL MONITORING

The data hub for
ground monitoring
teams.

Ingest readings from Casagrande piezometers, vibrating wire sensors, and water meters. Track trends, set thresholds, and get alerts before conditions become critical.

No credit card. Import CSV or start with demo data.

HOW IT WORKS

From raw logger output to actionable insight in minutes.

1

Create your project

Name your site, set a location, and invite your team. One project per monitoring site or structure.

2

Upload sensor data

Import CSV or Excel exports from your datalogger — Campbell, Geokon, RST, or any tab-delimited format. Or start with demo data.

3

Set alert thresholds

Define warning and critical levels per sensor. Geosium monitors every reading and notifies your team the moment a threshold is breached.

4

Monitor & share

View time-series charts, download reports, and give clients read-only access — all from one URL.

FEATURES

Built around how geotechnical teams actually work.

Time-series charting

Plot any sensor reading over time. Overlay warning and critical threshold lines. Zoom from a 24-hour window to the full project history.

PIEZOMETRIC HEAD · FLOW RATE

Threshold alerts

Set warn and critical levels per sensor. Receive email and in-app notifications the moment a reading crosses a threshold — no polling required.

EMAIL · IN-APP

Site map view

Place sensors on a contour map. See status at a glance — green for nominal, amber for warning, red for critical. Drill into any pin for the full reading history.

SPATIAL CONTEXT

Flexible data import

Upload CSV or Excel from any datalogger. Geosium auto-detects column types — timestamp, reading, temperature — and maps them to your sensor configuration.

CSV · XLS · XLSX

Export & reporting

Download filtered time-series data as CSV for use in GeoStudio, Python, or Excel. Scheduled PDF summary reports coming soon.

CSV EXPORT · API COMING

Multi-user projects

Invite engineers, technicians, and clients. Role-based access means field staff can upload data without touching alert configurations or billing.

SENSOR SUPPORT

Designed for the instruments already in your boreholes.

Geosium understands geotechnical sensor types natively — units, typical ranges, and calibration corrections are built in so you don't have to configure them from scratch.

SENSOR TYPE MEASURED PARAMETER SUPPORTED FORMATS STATUS
Casagrande Piezometer Piezometric head / pore water pressure. Standpipe with graduated tape or electronic transducer. Manual log · CSV · XLS SUPPORTED
Vibrating Wire Piezometer Pore water pressure via frequency shift. High accuracy, suitable for automated logging. Campbell · Geokon · RST CSV SUPPORTED
Water Meter Seepage flow rate measurement. Used in drainage monitoring and dam safety. CSV · Manual entry SUPPORTED
Inclinometer Lateral ground movement. A-axis and B-axis displacement profiles over depth. Slope Indicator · CSV IN PROGRESS
Settlement Gauge Vertical displacement of embankments and fills. Reed switch or VW transducer types. CSV PLANNED
FAQ

Common questions.

Geosium accepts CSV and Excel (.xls, .xlsx) exports from any datalogger. Columns are auto-detected for timestamp, reading value, temperature correction, and sensor ID. If your format isn't recognised, contact us and we'll add a parser — usually within a few days.
Not yet — the current release is file-import based. A REST API for direct logger push (Campbell CR1000, Campbell CR300, and RS T Datataker series) is on the roadmap for Q3 2026. File-based import covers most field workflows in the meantime.
Each sensor has an independent warn and critical level, set in the sensor's native units (e.g. metres above sea level for piezometers, litres per minute for water meters). Thresholds are evaluated on every new data point. Alert emails are sent to all project members with the relevant permission level.
Yes. The Viewer role can see dashboards, charts, and current readings but cannot upload data, modify thresholds, or invite other users. Share a project link and assign them a Viewer seat — no licence cost for client seats during early access.
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Projects are isolated at the database level — no cross-project data access is possible. During early access we're running on AWS infrastructure in Sydney (ap-southeast-2). A European region is planned.
Free during early access. We'll introduce paid plans with higher sensor counts, longer data retention, and API access later in 2026. Early access users get 12 months at the founding rate, locked in before general pricing is announced.
